Tenses in 9 Days; Day 3

Day 3:          Learning Past Tense In this lesson, you will learn only 4 sentences i.e., one assertive sentence from each Past Tense. (Negative and Interrogative Sentences will be discussed on 6th day and later.)

	Past
SIMPLE	I went.
CONTINUOUS	I was going.
PERFECT	I had gone.
PERFECT CONTINUOUS	I had been going.

After learning above 4 sentences, you will go to formulas.

	PAST
SIMPLE	No H.V + 2nd form
CONTINUOUS	was/were + ing form
PERFECT	had + 3rd form
PERFECT CONTINUOUS	had been + ing form

NO. H.V means No Helping Verb.
Practise affirmative sentences only; with subject “I” and various verbs.
